The GX470 is the daily-driveable trail rig. Based on the Land Cruiser Prado 120 platform, it gets the bulletproof 2UZ-FE V8 and full-time 4WD with a locking center differential. The Lexus version adds creature comforts without sacrificing capability.
The build philosophy is simple: reliable, recoverable, and capable enough for Arizona desert trails without being too modified for daily driving. Everything is bolt-on and reversible.
